today we went to DuPont Circle. we went to the tajik embassy and the bead stor. i got a ring that i will put on a necklace, and a tube each of erd and black beads. size six, to put on my knitting.

today i got back from flora's house. when i was there, we went to 'my girlfriend's kitchen', and made
2 kinds of chicken
3 bags of meatballs
lasagna
pork chops
a big turkey ciabatta
i made 2 of the meatballs and one of the chickens. it was fun. i would love to go back sometime. i think it would be cool if you could do birthday parties there.

we also went to an ethiopian wedding reception at Fort Meyer in DC. they had ingeera (did i spell that right?). there was also oxtail, lasagna with fish in it, and a whole roasted goat with the feet gone. half of it was precarved for your convenience, and the other half was still on the goat.
